@CoasterJoey I don’t bother visiting the park anymore. I know what to expect and it’s not a joyful day out

Imagine turning up and facing these queues, then waiting over an hour to be served inedible food, and dealing with constant weather delays and ride breakdowns after walking for hours because the sky ride is closed again, then retiring to sub par accommodation. Second to Disney.

@DingRawD Nope not yet just 2028 for when the project will be finished I would guess late 2026 it closes - but that’s pure speculation They did announce and have a big farewell event for EuroSat so I would think again we will get some prior notice

Roland Mack has said EuroMir will be replaced by a new coaster in time for 2028 with a new name Russia will be reduced in size with the historic section remaining The coaster will be part of a new Space exploration themed area in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA)

@FlippingSloth @ThemeParkWW Ride availability and operations. You always have an option to go on something at Europa with plenty of filler rides. Towers prefers to remove them

@ThemeParkWW It’s quite telling how Europa pulls 6million yet it never feels like your waiting all day for a single ride, yet Alton towers pulls 2.5m and you feel like your going to die and decay before getting on each ride.

The 2024 TEA Index is out with attendance numbers for theme parks and attractions 🎢 The busiest theme park in Europe is still Disneyland Park with over 10.2m visitors. Europa Park comes in second with 6.2m and Efteling with 5.6m. Alton Towers comes in with 2.5m visitors!

Here’s a look at my two operator panels. I should have had the Pirate Adventure panel from @DraytonManor a couple of years ago but never got round to getting it cut and collected. The Mack plate was removed for me as a gift from the Bryan’s but sadly was stolen by other staff.

It looks like Europa Park may be on the table for this year 🤫 I haven’t been there since 2019 when I used to work there. It’s going to be weird to return back after so long.

A lot of people are flocking to Madrid to ride Batman Gotham City Escape, but nestled in the Museo De Cera sits Tren Del Terror, a very unique dark ride attraction! We won’t spoil it, but it’s well worth a trip to experience if you like the weird and wonderful 👀.

@Robert_Ingle Technical Park does one called the “Sombrero” which is a powered coaster

During the late 1980s into the early 1990s, Arrow Dynamics was actively working on reviving the Virginia Wheel. Despite their efforts, the final product never came to fruition.
