Seven years ago today, our nation suffered what was then the deadliest mass shooting in American history. Forty-nine people, predominantly Latino LGBTQI+ people, lost their lives in a senseless act of gun violence. Today, on Pulse Remembrance Day, Jill and I pray for the families of the victims and every survivor who still carries the trauma. It's time for Congress to make commonsense reforms to keep our communities safe. Americans deserve nothing less.

BREAKING: New York Times calls Donald Trump to ask him if he has in fact been told that he would be indicted — and Trump’s answer is VERY telling. First, when asked by New York Times reporters, Trump initially said that it’s “not true.” But then, the reporters asked Trump if he has been sent a “target letter” from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office notifying him that he’s about to be criminally charged for stealing highly classified documents, Trump stuttered and replied that the reporters “have to understand” that he is “not directly in touch with prosecutors.” Do you see what he did there? It’s a typical Trump lie. Sure, prosecutors didn’t directly speak to him, they sent him a target letter. So technically, Trump can say that he isn’t “directly in touch with the prosecutors” and pretend that he isn’t about to be charged. But he DID receive a target letter — so his world is about to come crashing down all around him. Even better, the New York Times report also states that “aides and advisers” to Trump are in “a state of high tension” due to Trump’s looming arrest. "So I thought it was a good idea to fly by myself with a 2 yr old and a 5 year old 😐 we were standing in line in security, on the verge of tears because Wyatt was screaming and James was exhausted. Out of the blue, one mom stops the line for security and says “here, jump in front of me! I know how it is!” Wyatt fell asleep and I was trying to carry everyone’s carry-on when another mom jumps out of her place in line and says “hand me everything, I’ve got it”. When I said thank you to both of them they said “don’t you worry, we’re going to make sure you get on that flight.” The second woman takes evvvverything and helps me get it through security and, on top of all that, she grabs all of it and walks us to the gate to make sure we get on the flight. To top it all off, Wyatt starts to scream at take off before he finally falls back to sleep. After about 45 min, this angel 👇🏼 comes to the back and says “you look like you need a break” and holds Wyatt for the rest of the flight AND walks him all the way to baggage claim, hands him” back and hugs me.
