@DinnerNightBlog A few hundred apartments, a small bbq place, Old Spaghetti Factory and some office tenants. Buildings are slowly becoming housing and retail spaces are being refreshed and ready to be listed.

I was at Laclede's Landing this morning taking in the sights of old St. Louis blending beautifully with the icon known as the Gateway Arch.

State redistricting is supposed to take place after the decennial census, not whenever the President asks Republicans to stack the deck ahead of a midterm election. And now, following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strip the Voting Rights Act, the Secretary of State is threatening to go after Missouri’s last remaining majority-Black district—which encompasses all of St. Louis City. Pedro is so old and grey. I can’t remember life without him. It’s been over a decade since I found him starving with about 500 ticks on him. He has good days and bad now, but he’s still the happiest dog. I know I’m not supposed to have a favorite with all my rescues - but he’s always been my best boy. Senior dogs are the best dogs.
