8,888 fully on-chain pixel dinos. Each one hatches frame by frame, lives in your wallet as animated SVG, and grows forever on Ethereum.

> dinosprites.com/docs just shipped the Dino Sprites technical docs — a full breakdown of how 8,888 fully on-chain animated SVG NFTs actually work. every frame, trait, and animation instruction generated inside tokenURI. No IPFS. No off-chain renderer. architecture, rendering pipeline, gas tricks, and a live Playground. enjoy🦖

@josephweb3 @DinoSprites Kinda like Tamagochi 🔥

Dino Sprites is a really interesting take on NFTs. There are 8,888 dinos total. You evolve an egg through the ERC-721 contract, then hatch it into a unique pixel dino stored onchain. The contract itself manages: • egg minting • incubation timing • hatching logic • ownership • sprite generation/storage The best part is the lifecycle mechanic. Your NFT changes state over time, controlled directly by the smart contract. What's mindblowing is that a @DinoSprites cost around 1$, and the project have less than 300 followers on X. Early.

not just cheaper reads — we bought headroom. Less gas per tokenURI means more room for future on-chain surprise art & metadata updates without hitting the wall.

shipped a new on-chain renderer for Dino Sprites — same pixels, way less gas. Hatched dino: 5.76M → 4.78M (−17%) Hatched + buddy: 10.5M → 6.7M (−36%) Metadata byte-for-byte identical. Still 100% on-chain same SVG. more headroom to keep building 🦕
