@7AFL @tommorris32 Tom’s cricket insights are excellent
His content last summer on SEN was consistently compelling and insightful

Welcome to the team, @tommorris32 ‼️
The Seven Network today announced award-winning sport broadcaster Tom Morris will join Seven’s AFL and cricket coverage in 2026.
“Footy and cricket are my two biggest passions, so to have the opportunity to be part of live match coverage across both is something I dreamed of as a kid, and a big reason why I am joining Seven."
Morris will join Seven’s AFL coverage on Sunday afternoons, starting with this weekend’s Melbourne v Brisbane Lions clash at the MCG.
Morris will also host Seven’s weekly Wednesday night edition of The Agenda Setters, alongside Mitch Cleary, Nick Riewoldt and a rotating fourth guest panellist.

@IncrediblyBozza 1990 VFA GF is one of the best games of Victorian football in history!
English

With the VFL returning to ABC, here is a video of the ABC’s coverage of the VFA in the 1990’s.

@anndeejam Depends whose "point of view" you are viewing the result from. Is it the Australian point of view, or the other countries' point of view???
English

@RFC_Centre @1116sen Beg to differ. He kept Andrews engaged in the first half. Andrews only had one quarter where he had a big impact.
English

@1116sen Genuinely can't fathom how people are justifying Frampton's horrendous game.
Ask yourself this question, Sliding Doors style.
IF
Nathan Murphy wasn't concussed
THEN
Billy Frampton would be subbed out at HT without a disposal to his name
English

"Billy's role was a big tick. He did nothing (offensively), but he didn't have to...he did an excellent job on Harris Andrews. It was really strong coaching."
- Scott Lucas on Billy Frampton's game yesterday

@canofwords @thefrontbar7 You know he played a specific role yesterday, right? His opponent played one good quarter.
English

@thefrontbar7 In honour of his zero possession 1999 GF contribution, I think the Cam Mooney medal for worst on ground in a premiership side is long overdue. Aaron Keating & Billy Frampton could even receive retrospective medals next year. #AFLGrandFinal #AFLGF #AFL #mooneymedal

@CollingwoodAFLW Poor Imogen 😪 Hope she can rehab strongly and be available for finals. 🖤🤍
English

@RonnyLerner Nup. He jumped knowing full well that when he landed he’d be going straight through the player. Jumping like that in that situation can only have one outcome. Gone!
English

Re Maynard , reckon he’ll be unlucky to cop a suspension. Not sure what he could’ve done. Was already airborne #AFLFinals #AFLPiesDees

@MattWalshMedia Football action young Matthew. Platter got whacked in the head regularly in a very different era of football.
English

Channel 7 previewing the heartbreaking story of John Platten's battle with CTE and memory loss in the ad break after their commentators all said Brayden Maynard "has nothing to worry about" after knocking out a player, sums it up really. #AFLFinals

@TheIanMiddleton @SwoopLuke If Zorko was captain, you couldn't blame him...
English

@Swiggy12 @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn Have to disagree with you mate. He doesn't make enough runs when they're needed most. You clearly like his style. Have you heard of Khawaja?
English

@DirkNax @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn He has also won plenty of tests batting his way.. you are looking at one series. Not the way to judge a batsman. Over the past 18 months he has arguably been Australia’s best batsman
English

@Swiggy12 @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn He doesn't put a high price on his wicket. Particularly at times when he could put Australia in a winning position. You have to look behind the average of someone. It doesn't tell the full story. Making 39 or more 6 times in 10 innings in good conditions with no century does.
English

@DirkNax @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn It’s the way he plays you have to take the good with the bad. he average one less then smith all series, I might not be Australia’s next captain but it won’t be because he ‘value his wicket’
English

@Swiggy12 @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn Ok mate, entitled to your opinion. He isn't Gilly, he is a top 6 batter. He made 6 scores between 39 and 77 in 10 innings. Lost his wicket in most of these to poor shot selection, technique and/or footwork. His careless dismissal in the last test turned the match.
English

@DirkNax @7Scott77 @MitchellGlenn Doesn’t value his wicket?? Come off it that’s the way he plays did Gilly use to not value his wicket? Terrible call
