The root cause of unemployment among disabled is the belief that disabilities are defects. Also the misguided notion … when a candidate does not fit the mainstream idea of how a disabled person appears. And so people with mental illnesses & invisible disabilities are rejected.

What went wrong at the International Disability Alliance (IDA)? At the start of the year an independent review found “signals of mismanagement” and alleged “abuse of power” by its leadership. Around $850,000 was identified as “financial irregularities”. 1/
