Can we talk about how Ableism is so bad many people are afraid to talk about their disabilities? I was made to believe I just exaggerated and was a cry baby until I got my diagnosis. I was so young that people made fun of me for bracing. The said I was an attention seeker. #hEDS

@SpoonieStella Relatable, unfortunately. I’m sorry they did that to you. My family used to make fun of me by limping. I often twisted my hypermobile ankles while playing and running as a kid. I was barely aware of how much I limped until they bullied me for it.

I really wonder if these people have actually tried growing their own food. Because I’ve been growing what I can on my little mobile home lot for a few years now and do not produce anywhere near enough food to live on.

It pisses me fuck off that folks are seriously like “time to grow your own food” as if everyone just has the fucking space or access to resources to fuckin do that. As if the entire system hasn’t contaminated most everything we have, making us dependent on industrial agriculture.
