Citrea is the project of my life. We started Chainway Labs in the summer of 2022 as a venture builder company. I was still early in college. A year later, after months of R&D trying to bring real financial primitives to Bitcoin, we landed on the idea for Citrea, and I knew immediately this was something I'd need to put 100% of my attention on for decades. Since then it's been non-stop. Two funding rounds, dropped out of college, shipped the product, built an ecosystem, and kept going. There were stretches I won't romanticize. Problems we weren't sure we could solve. Weeks where the only thing keeping the team moving was the belief that what we were building had to exist. Bitcoin is the most important network humanity has ever built, and it deserves an economy that lives up to it. That conviction is what got us through every hard call, and it's what shapes every decision we still make. I'm a developer at heart, and that's where my career started. But from the earliest days of Citrea, I understood this wasn't only an engineering problem. We've already cleared most of the hard technical bars; the first ZK rollup on Bitcoin, the first BitVM2 deployment in production. The harder question was always coordination. How do you make sure the people who actually carry a network forward — the projects building on it, the users showing up every day — are the ones who benefit most from its growth? CTR and xCTR are our answers. We spent a long time on the design, because a coordination asset only matters if the mechanics genuinely reward alignment. xCTR holders are first-class citizens of the network. They receive early-unstake fees from participants who exit, they're the ones ecosystem apps bribe for incentives — and apps that want sustained influence will accumulate CTR on the open market, or build their own LSTs around it. Voters also receive multiplied emissions on the pools they direct incentives toward. The flywheel is built in: the more aligned you are, the more the system compounds for you. What we have with Citrea as a base layer is genuinely unique. It's the only production layer today where you can build Bitcoin applications under these trust assumptions. If you're building on Bitcoin, this is your network as much as it is ours. With CTR, we're turning that into a platform every participant can own a piece of. This is the moment Citrea stops being my project and starts being ours. Over the next few weeks we'll share more on the initial claims and timelines. If you read this far, an alpha for you: tomorrow is going to be even better than today. Keep an eye on the official accounts.

1/8 Today, we introduce CTR, the coordination asset for the Bitcoin economy. Over the past two years, we built an end-to-end Bitcoin economy that relies on the Bitcoin Network as its source of truth. With CTR, we're handing control of this economy to the people who use it.

@hodlonaut You are a fucking buffoon and a clown. x.com/i/status/20380… You lied and misled people about this PR in your first slop trash piece, and you just continue the same lie in your second slop trash piece even after it was totally debunked.

I don't know, maybe taking an innocuous PR (one of which was closed BTW, Jon got his way) over how nodes relay other nodes IP addresses, and painting a completely distorted picture of the entire situation? The reality: John gave some innocuous advice to split up a PR, because part of it was not relaying a list of node IPs to blocks only nodes, who wouldn't relay or do anything with them. The other was changing how nodes are selected to relay very small IP lists, because only two peers are chosen in that case. She was trying to give maximal odds those peers get those IPs propagated widely. He was giving advice to a junior developer he was mentoring, to simply split up changes so individual changes can be looked at individually, which is good practice. Over two stupid tiny changes to make sure Bitcoin nodes do the best job possible finding each other. The "semantic widening" (which is nonsense bullshit buzzwords you chose probably just to make people associate it with spam without knowing what the actual PR was) didn't exist. Nothing about how messages were interpreted or what they made nodes do (the message semantics) changed, just how your node decided to send them or not in the first place. All that IRC log snippet shows in reality, when you ACTUALLY research those PRs and what they did, is actually _Wladimir_ having an autistic sperg out about something that wasn't happening. You take a random innocuous PR, and A SENIOR DEVELOPER ADVISING THE JUNIOR HE WAS MENTORING to break up two changes that should be done separately, one of which was CLOSED, and paint that as some nefarious background influence. It was a senior developer giving good advice to a junior developer, you fucking clown. Then you go further, twisting Johns interaction with Wlad as some evidence of John's "influence" meeting resistance. It was literally just Wlad autistically sperging out about something he thought was happening, that wasn't happening. You are a fucking gaslighting propagandist clown, and that entire piece was clear and obvious LLM slop.

@CountryFirstRep He’s becoming an Evangelical Christian which does not recognize a Pope. We recognize Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and the teachings of the Bible. We do not need a Pontifical Catholic Hierarchy standing in as mediator between Christians and God. That is NOT Biblical.

Let me dust off my crystal ball and explain what's going to happen here. Iran is going to lose this war. Their ability to terrorize the region will be over. This will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity in the Middle East. Hezbollah and Hamas will be eliminated. Once the war ends, which should be within the next month or so, gas prices will fall to their lowest levels in years. All of the recent stock market losses will recover and more. Once Hamas is gone, places like Gaza will be rebuilt to rival the beauty of Dubai. The Republicans will win the House and the Senate in the midterms. MAGA will dominate DC for a generation. And that's the way it is.

Listen, you brain-dead morons... Most of you are so fucking stupid it hurts. There is NO fucking “constitutional right to protest” in this country. NONE. ZIP. ZERO. Shut your whiny mouths and hear this clearly. What the First Amendment actually protects is the right to PEACEFULLY ASSEMBLE. That’s it. Full stop. End of fucking sentence. No burning cities to the ground. No smashing windows and looting like animals. No blocking highways and terrorizing commuters. No screeching profanity in strangers’ faces. No threatening people. No destroying property. No turning public spaces into war zones. You get to stand there like a civilized adult. You get to hold your pathetic little sign. You get to gather quietly without violating everyone else’s rights. The SECOND it crosses into loud, violent, coercive, destructive, or threatening behavior—it’s NO LONGER PROTECTED. It’s just criminal garbage. Domestic terrorism with nose rings and EBT cards. So take your entitled, riot-loving bullshit and shove it up your well-gaped assholes. We’re done pretending your tantrums are “free speech.” Grow the fuck up or get treated like the curb trash you are. There. Misunderstanding corrected, you absolute fucking retards.
