"Police detain man for wearing kippa with Israeli, Palestinian flags, cut out the Palestinian one". Quiz of the Day: If any other police force had done this, and removed the Israeli rather than Palestinian flag: 1) How many microseconds until the police force is denounced as latter-day Nazis (Hint: less than 1) 2) would the officers in question and their commander be fired or additionally prosecuted? timesofisrael.com/police-detain-…

Re: Tom Steyer. There is no greater return on investment possible for a corrupt billionaire than buying state power. At first I thought it was a vanity run. Then I remembered how much richer Elon got by cozying up to the executive branch. And how much richer the Trump & Kushner got as the Czars of the United States. Billionaires are the problem, not the solution. Can’t believe we have to explain that to Dems…

The greatest crisis facing journalism today is Israel The apartheid state is the world’s leading murderer of journalists, assassinating courageous reporters from Gaza to Lebanon as a matter of policy and with impunity In the US, Israeli cutouts like the Ellisons are establishing a monopoly, buying every social and legacy media property possible, to prevent these facts from reaching the public All across the West, Israel works to destroy the reputations and careers of journalists who demonstrate solidarity with colleagues targeted by its killing machine In such a dire climate, true independent media is necessarily and explicitly antizionist

The Dems just killed Calcare, which is the umpteenth time they have killed it since they pretended to vote for it in ‘06 and ‘08 when they knew the Governator would terminate it for them. If you believe that a Democrat is gonna get you universal single payer, there’s a bridge in San Fran I wanna sell you.

They rigged it against Bernie in 2016 & 2020. Now they're doing it against @ButchWare in the CA governors race, the ONLY candidate supporting divestment from genocide, Medicare for All/CalCare, rent freeze, & billionaires tax. This hurts us all. Fight back. Support Butch now!
Power to the People ☭🕊@ProudSocialist

10 years ago the DNC rigged its primary against Bernie via superdelegates, media collusion & backroom deals singlehandedly exposing that the “Democratic” party is NOT democratic at all. The worst part is Bernie went along with it instead of building an alternative to the duopoly.

@Beau4Congress @DrJillStein @ButchWare You can't add very well, huh? There's less than $6k in the highest month and that includes employer taxes. Also, who exactly are you to say how much a middle-aged person with dependents living in California needs to make when he joins a presidential campaign as VP? Shut up dude

My full statement as a single thread: I am neither a Pro-life ‘abortion banner’ nor a transphobe. I believe firmly in the sacred dignity of every single human being. It saddens me to have to announce this, because I have NEVER - in public or in private - taken a position against a woman’s right to choose, or against the rights of the lgbtq and trans communities to live the lives they choose.   Yesterday I was made aware of the hurt caused by the proliferation of two shorts clip of my recent comments on a political interview program. These comments were taken out of context and used to paint me as holding views I fundamentally reject. Let me be clear: the values I stand for and the principles I uphold are rooted in full inclusion, respect, and justice for all communities, especially our LGBTQAI2S+ family, who have long been at the forefront of the Green movement for equality. The remarks in question, presented in a hostile interview, were misrepresented through selective editing to suggest otherwise. In context, I was engaging in what I thought was a discussion of a nuanced policy on Olympic inclusion based on information shared by the IOC, not making a statement against trans inclusion. Unfortunately, certain individuals have chosen to distort my words, weaponizing them to undermine our movement and campaign. In my eleven-week crash course into the world of electoral politics, I have learned that unethical people are paid good money to twist the words and sully the name of good people. They turn midnight into high noon with selective editing, cherry-picking sound bites to produce ‘gotcha’ moments that never were. The fear and desperation of democrats to drive a wedge into the Green Party base has driven this process into overdrive. They have now been caught multiple times trying to utilize black talk radio to further this agenda.   Throughout my career, I have been a vocal advocate for queer rights, and I remain committed to the liberation of all marginalized communities. It is a priority for me to stand alongside trans and queer individuals in every fight for equity, including the urgent struggle against violence targeting queer and trans women of color. I know that the misperception caused by these comments has hurt members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who have felt misrepresented or unprotected. For that, I am truly sorry. I have already spoken with the officers of the National Lavender Greens Caucus and appreciate their willingness to engage in open, honest conversation on this matter. I am committed to continuing this dialogue beyond the immediate demands of this election season, to ensure that our party's values and my own are as clear and unwavering as ever.

@DisarmEmpires @DrJillStein @ButchWare Where does it lie? Why did Butch Ware need 10k to run as Jill's VP? Why did he deny this? Then when the FEC report came out, his former CM claimed it was "much less then he was making." Why do you support someone who thinks there needs to be limits on abortion?
