Discord is working on bringing your profile widgets to mobile! Current support is limited to the built-in game widgets, but custom profile widgets might follow soon. You'll be able to find these on a new Board tab on people's profiles.

Discord is expanding the regions in which Nitro Squads, their new group plan, are available. We've received reports of the feature rolling out in the UK and France, beyond Australia. You will see an in-app popup once the plan is available for you.

The monthly price for Discord Nitro Squads will be $25.99, making it $4.33 per person if all six slots are filled. All members will receive the same perks as the $10 Nitro plan, except for the two server boosts. Currently, there seem to be no plans for a yearly subscription.

Discord is experimenting with increasing the File Upload Size Limits for free users. We've seen reports ranging from 15MB to 20MB and even 25MB. Due to the way this is being rolled out, we're unable to confirm if there are any additional size limits being trialed right now.

Discord has added a new Server Setting that lets you limit pruning server members. When enabled, only administrators will be able to prune inactive members from your server. You can find the new setting under Server Settings > Safety Setup > Permissions.

Users can manually change which seat their avatar sits in (positions are pre-determined). There are also references to statuses but those don't seem to be implemented right now.

Discord is adding three more fonts and another effect to Display Name Styles. However it appears that the "Prism" effect does not work properly yet and is still functionally identical to the "Gradient" effect.

Discord is working on even more new Badges! The Account Age Badge will reflect for how many years you've been using Discord, maxing out at 10+ Years. The Streaming Badge will presumably level up based on the amount of time you've spent streaming in voice channels.

Friend request notes are rolling out, here's an updated look at how they work on desktop! Also, if you don't want to see the notes people are adding to their friend requests, you can opt-out of seeing them via your User Settings!

Discord is adding a new system that will let you add notes to friend requests. This will allow you to let someone know why you'd like to add them as a friend. The note is only shared with the person you're sending the friend request to.
