In recent weeks, Jewish charities, businesses and places of worship have been targeted in a series of shameful antisemitic attacks. Jewish Londoners must be able to live their lives free from the fear of harassment, intimidation or violence. The fact they cannot do so is utterly unacceptable. I remain in close contact with the Met police who have stepped up resources to protect our Jewish communities, but I also urge all Londoners to stand against antisemitism and to check in with Jewish friends, neighbours and colleagues. Our city is at its best when we look out for each other and unite against those who seek to divide us.
