🌟 It’s an honor to introduce Pablo Groisman, part of our Scientific & Industry Advisors team at Disruptive Research Institute. @PGroisma is a Principal Researcher at CONICET at the Instituto de Investigaciones Matemáticas Luis A. Santaló (IMAS), and a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at @Exactas_UBA. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires. His research spans probability theory and its applications, including interacting particle systems, branching and random growth processes, stochastic models for synchronization, quasi-stationary distributions, stochastic differential equations, geometric and topological statistics, and reconstruction in dynamical systems. Pablo is deeply engaged in the scientific community. He serves as an Associate Editor of "Chaos, Solitons & Fractals", has held key academic leadership roles at UBA, and is the author of more than 50 research articles as well as several popular science books in Spanish. 🔬 Together with @AndresTobelem, @Viio_J, @MOskarsdottir and @D_E_Fernandez, Pablo brings strong theoretical depth and scientific leadership to our mission of bridging rigorous research with real-world impact. #DisruptiveResearch #AppliedMathematics #DataScience

Daniel is a technology leader and entrepreneur with a strong track record in data privacy, blockchain, and scalable engineering. He currently works at BigID as Senior Director of Engineering, leading multiple privacy applications. Previously, he co-founded and served as CTO at illow, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform, which was acquired by BigID after scaling to support over 10,000 companies across 68 countries. Beyond his executive leadership, Daniel is an active contributor to the technical community, having co-authored five research papers and developed protocols for secure data exchange and gas-efficient micropayments. His experience spans leading multi-company engineering teams, navigating complex blockchain security audits, and driving innovation. Andres studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and brings over 27 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked on projects such as the Interactive Map of the City of Buenos Aires and PuenteNet, contributing to initiatives that combine technology, data, and public service. Over the past decade, he has specialized as a Data Engineer, working at companies such as Grandata, Wildlife Studios, and RapidSOS, where he focuses on building data infrastructures and analytical systems to support data-driven decision-making. Ayer tuvimos las presentaciones finales del curso de Ciencia de Redes Humanas y Sociales 🎓✨ Muchas gracias a @Pablic2003 y Ricardo Oscar Rodriguez por la invitación a dar el curso 🙌. Disfruté mucho la dinámica con lxs alumnxs y me impresiona lo que lograron en los trabajos prácticos en solo ocho semanas. Me pregunto qué harían con más tiempo 🤓. Fue un placer conocer a alumnxs de la Licenciatura en Ciencia de Datos, y también que se haya sumado gente de Computación, Sociología y Psicología. Gracias también a Pedro Giménez Molinelli y Andrés Alvarez por acercarse a saludar y aportar su experiencia; siempre es un gusto reencontrarse con los amigos 🙂. Y por supuesto gracias a @AndresTobelem que se entusiasmó con dar este curso conmigo! Estas fueron las presentaciones, sobre cuatro temas muy distintos: 🔷 Grafo de dependencias de paquetes de Python 🐍📦 Exploraron la estructura y conectividad del ecosistema de paquetes en Python. Mateo Guerrero Schmidt, Juan Ignacio Catania, Sofia Gutierrez, Martina Rosario Perez. 🔷 Análisis de stock migratorio mundial 🌎 Identificaron patrones migratorios dominantes a nivel global y regional (visto como grafo dirigido de migraciones entre países) y analizaron la evolución temporal de la intensidad migratoria entre 1990 y 2024. Alejandro Blasco, Marco Canero, Evangelina Iodice, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Miguel. 🔷 Análisis de eventos globales usando GDELT 🗺️ GDELT es una base de datos de eventos con 250 millones de registros georreferenciados que cubre todo el mundo a lo largo de 30 años. Clara Chamena Aloisio, Victoria Brites, Serena Chrzanowski Serantes. 🔷 Análisis de redes ocupacionales y de rama de actividad 👥 Estudiaron el grafo bipartito de ocupaciones y ramas de actividad basado en la Encuesta sobre Estructura Social y Políticas Públicas (2021), identificando comunidades de ocupaciones y trayectorias ocupacionales.
