New flags going out today, these will be colour coordinated with location on the greens. Red for front, yellow for middle and white for back.

The tree line between 10th and 11th has been extend down towards the bunker. These were kindly donated by the widow as a lasting memorial to a lost one @dissgolfclub

Grass mates beside the weak areas of tees are beginning to be installed now. 9th completed by the end of the day. Then just need to wait for some growth action 🌱 @dissgolfclub

Course reopen this morning. NO Buggies, ground is still to wet from yesterdays rain.

Due to heavy overnight rain and heavy rain expected during the day we have closed the course. Sorry for the inconvenience. @dissgolfclub

NO BUGGIES. Unfortunately due to the stormy weather yesterday the course is very wet, please be extra careful when out on the course. @dissgolfclub

Winter projects have also begun with the fence on the 2nd tee area being removed ready for the new tee rebuild. Tee markers have been moved forward to the edge of the fairway while this work is being completed @dissgolfclub

Unfortunately the cold and wet weather is starting to arrive. Ropes and hoops have been put out to protect weaker areas. Please follow any directions indicated by white line marker @dissgolfclub

The Amazon is out and cutting of the long grass has begun on the 5th hole. Selected areas will be cut over the month or so. @dissgolfclub

Unfortunately due to the wet weather there will be NO buggies allowed out on the course today. Sorry for the inconvenience @dissgolfclub

This is a fantastic illustration showing how quickly water soaks into the ground. Many parts of the UK are currently like the one on the right. Torrential downpours could very quickly lead to flash flooding due to surface run off.
