- No gameplay, info or any major news since they went "dark" with the reset
The Riot MMO is one of the mostly hotly anticipated MMO's ever, which is insane considering how little we know. Riot though have the money, the IP, a stacked team and more.
League of Legends players can now enable the "Show Last Hit Assist" feature 🏹
Minions health bars turn white when they are within last-hit range, scaling with the champion's damage. 📈
@ZackTraynor97@SpoonGlove@ShitpostGate Einstein started believing in a higher power when he discovered the universe had a beginning. Let that soak in for a bit.
@SpoonGlove@ShitpostGate I was on dude’s side until he mentioned Jesus ffs. What is with America living in the 1600s, living in a cult and believing in a sky wizard? Read a science book ffs you absolute gammons

2XKO team downsized. A lot of good FGC people impacted by the layoffs as well, I'm hoping the best for them landing on their feet.
Post says goal is reducing team to have sustainable path forward, but this does not build confidence that support will last much longer.
Bummer.
@Bri4nF it seems they fired half of the development team (around 80 people), I cannot see a path in which a team cut in half could possibly maintain their workflow even as close as what they had before, which was already not the best
Hot Take: I don’t think MSQ’s belong in MMORPGs. The world and the interactions within them should have deep lore. But I don’t need to run from zone to zone following some rag tag band of evil fighters.
The world should be the main character.
@Neeko2loTV@oheyspun Couldn't agree more. Elden Ring has crazy deep lore for those that look for it, but it's not forced onto those that play for just the boss fights, speed runs, etc
@Faburisu Actual serious question: all the job openings on the Riot page are for senior or management positions. What about the junior/entry positions?
This weekend was another reminder of how hard building MMOs truly is. They demand grit, resilience, long-term vision, deep player insight, and mastery of complex systems at scale. If that’s exactly what excites you, if you’re a master of your craft and love the League universe, join us in creating something special: #product=MMO" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">riotgames.com/en/work-with-u…
@Faburisu@EllyTwitch So glad you're the one with the reigns on the MMO man...
And no, it's not sarcastic. I genuinely mean it. Your humor and overall wit is refreshing instead of pure silence.
Bro there is only a handful MMOs that still breathe
- WOW
- FFXIV
- BDO
- Guild Wars 2
- OSRS
Am I missing one?
PS: Riot MMO will never see the light of day, bookmark this
@IntelMMO The game was announced in 2020 and in 2026 we don't have anything about it, just give up. We won't see anything playable until at least 2030.
