Who's on air in the #MISen Democratic primary over the next seven days: -United Democracy Project (Pro-Stevens): $4.6M -Abdul El-Sayed: $489K -A Stronger Michigan (Pro-Stevens): $299K -Fighting for Michigan (Pro-El-Sayed): $65K

Today, the UAW issued a cease and desist against a Super PAC called "A Stronger Michigan" for use of the UAW's "wheel" logo in election ads promoting a candidate not endorsed by the Union. This is yet another example of why we need dark money corporate PACs out of our politics. These ads are a deliberate attempt at misleading voters in Michigan, including hundreds of thousands of active and retired UAW members and their families across the state. The UAW has a member-driven approach to our endorsements. We reviewed questionnaires, interviewed candidates, and a Counsel of Local, Regional, and International leaders voted by a two-thirds majority to endorse @AbdulElSayed. We will not stand for any corporate entity attempting to undermine our Union's democratic process.

Retiring Sen. Gary Peters endorses Stevens in Michigan primary He told me in April: “I’m staying out of the race … I don’t want to be commenting on the race ... whoever's going to be our nominee we’ll get behind”

The NY Fed just dropped new consumer data and the math explains why everyone is broke. Inflation expectations just jumped to 3.7%, but the actual breakdown is wild. They expect rent to go up 8.3% this year and healthcare to jump 9.4%. Meanwhile, average salary growth is stuck at 3%. You can't even budget your way out of that. Your bills are literally growing three times faster than your paycheck.

Statement from Shawn Fain, who Trump’s DOJ is now investigating

Insurance denied my friend’s MRI last month. Doctor ordered it. Said it was medically necessary. Insurance said they needed more documentation. Doctor sent more documentation. Insurance said they needed a peer to peer review. Peer to peer happened. Insurance denied it again. My friend paid $2,400 out of pocket. The person who denied it was not a doctor. Was not reviewed by a doctor. Was an algorithm trained to find reasons to say no. This is legal. This is standard practice. This happens 50,000 times a day in America.
