E15 fuel economy back center stage. Here are MPG results from California testing. Average loss was 1.3% but note some saw MPG gain! The fuel is averaging a national discount of 8% today. Your cost per mile goes down with E15 - there is no debate. Add ethanol - octane goes up, cost goes down.

While you deal with sticker shock at the pump, remember that there is a better, cheaper, higher octane fuel called e15, like they use in NASCAR. If you can't find it, that's because the government won't allow it to be sold nationwide and year-round. Time for that to change. #E15
