Another thing revealed by this woman is the lack of seriousness in the political class. Estonia is not a country in the way France is a country. This has long been a working hypothesis for me. Jews emerged from the shtetls into a situation in Europe where high-status ideas were progressivism, socialism, Fabianism, etc. They jumped on board those trains and, sometimes, nudged them towards their own ethnic interests.
