EU leaders have adopted joint #EUCO conclusions on Ukraine without Hungary and Slovakia.
This means the vetoes on the €90 billion loan for Ukraine and the 20th package of sanctions against Russia remain firmly in place.

Trump is asking European allies to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz to keep global energy lanes open, and threatening to withdraw NATO’s security umbrella if they don’t.
Never mind that Trump didn’t inform EU leaders about this war. Never mind the trade and cultural war he’s running against them.
That’s the ultimate humiliation: being summoned to defend a war you weren’t consulted on, and whose costs are borne by Europeans alone.
European foreign ministers meet today. They found their voice on Greenland. Time to find it again.

A multipolar world requires multilateral solutions. In this new reality, the EU must defend the rules-based international order. Violations of international law must not be accepted, human rights violations must not be tolerated. Freedom and human rights cannot be achieved through bombs. Only international law upholds them.
