For a long time, I resented the present
As if it was purely a means to an end, that end being a bettter future
A future where I have/don’t have xyz
But when you get the thing you want, the joy will be short lived, and you’ll start thinking back to how enjoyable the journey was
I’ve never been as fortunate as I am now, yet feel further than ever before
Your vision, goals and dreams will continue changing
All you can truly do is find gratitude for where you are along the path, right now, bad or good
You are living someone’s dream life

As I grow older and responsibilities start to stack, it’s made me reflect a lot on my days as a kid
I remember growing up resenting how frugal my dad was - probably even crossed over the line to cheap
So much so that he forbade us from buying him any gifts, regardless of the occasion
I once swore to myself I’d never be like that…
Yet here I am doing mental math on every purchase lmao
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not as conservative about spending as he was - I’ll gladly spend where and when it matters
But I’m not dropping money on ego purchases or to look good for people I don’t care about
And I think this is something everyone needs to hear
It’s absurdly easy to feel like you’re on top of the world off a few good months
But the point people often miss is how scarce online money really is
Markets are evolving by the day, people are becoming more wary, trends are coming and going fast
Best thing you can do for yourself is first bulletproofing your future
By spending and investing in the things that compound
Then have all the fun you want
You’ll thank yourself

@Alex9Ten @TheInfoDon This is actually hilarious, him selling them was proof of it working 🤣
English

@TheInfoDon So he sells a remote closing course, a bunch of participants bought it, and instead of realizing what happened, they blame their failures on his lies? Did they forget the part where they all paid and signed up for it? He remotely closed all of them.
English

Apparently there's a little kid on instagram who was selling a remote closing course
People found out none of the claims he was making regarding his success in the field were real
Fighting like $200k in disputes and in bank overdraft from what I hear
Why is there yet to be one fully legit sales trainer who sells at scale
All the good ones aren't mainstream

@andyantiles_ If you’re never gonna get divorced, then you might as well sign a prenup though, because it won’t matter
And if it ends up mattering, someone didn’t stick to their word anyways
English

I got married as a 24 year old multi millionaire and did NOT sign a prenup
Why would I enter into a marriage with an emergency backup plan?
Uncertainty of any kind has no place in a new marriage
I married my soulmate, and I am 100% certain I will be with my wife for the rest of my life
Divorce is not an option, the word doesn’t exist in our home
If you aren’t certain you’re marrying your forever partner, don’t get married

There’s actually something very interesting about partcitipating in some normal actvities
Because even the business guys dopamine is fried, just constantly on slack rather than instagram
If you can watch a movie fully present, with friends or a partner - it’s actually good
Arun Kataria@arunkatariaa
I recently developed a big love for movies It’s funny because I used to be unable to sit through movies or shows before without picking up my phone Especially since most of my work is on it and it’d just be a distraction But lately, it’s something that has not only allowed me to somewhat reset my dopamine system But my cortisol levels have dropped quite significantly as well
English

I’m a firm believer that everyone needs at least one normie vice to keep some of that retarded kid alive in them
Doesn’t matter if it’s supporting your boyhood sports team
Watching movies that make you feel something
Hell, even downing a burger once in a while
The performative asceticism that’s been normalized by the self-improvement culture is cringe and ultimately soulless
English

@arunkatariaa And they never do any admin so you can't even fix bottlenecks because you have no data
English

These “high-ticket sales coaches” that are brainwashing sales reps to only care about inbound
Are one of the worst things that has happened to the space
Half of these “closers” have no actual sales skills
They cry if they have to reach out
Barely follow up
And if they do, it’s all spray and pray
And whine if leads don’t watch videos before talking to them
Terrible
English

You have to sacrifice what you want, to get what you want
It sounds backwards, but if you want freedom
You need to have a rigid schedule in the short term to gather the resources needed to be free
If you want money
You have to sacrifice money in the short tern to scale up your business
Keeping something in the short term, is going to cause you to run out of it in the long term
