Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias , today took first-hand appraisal of the facilities and arrangements for pilgrims undertaking Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026 at yatra camp Chanderkote in Ramban, different langar sites and lodgement centres in Udhampur. The Div Com directed the District Administrations to ensure the uninterrupted availability of all essential services at the lodgement centres and langer sites throughout the yatra period. He emphasized the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness, prompt service delivery and effective coordination among all stakeholder departments to facilitate a safe, smooth, and hassle-free pilgrimage.

श्री अमरनाथ जी यात्रा 2026 के श्रद्धालुओं के लिए महत्वपूर्ण सूचना माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के निर्देशानुसार यात्रा मार्ग पर प्रतिदिन यात्रा करने वाले श्रद्धालुओं की अधिकतम संख्या निर्धारित की गई है। श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा एवं यात्रा के सुचारु संचालन हेतु इस सीमा का पालन करना अनिवार्य है। श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिए यात्रा प्रारंभ होने से काफी पहले ही देश भर में बैंक शाखाओं एवं ऑनलाइन माध्यम से Advance Registration की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई थी। अधिकांश श्रद्धालुओं ने इस सुविधा का लाभ उठाकर अपना registration पहले ही करा लिया है। इसीलिए तत्काल (Tatkal) registration की slots अत्यंत सीमित हैं | सभी श्रद्धालुओं से अनुरोध है की वे अपना advance registration करने के पश्चात ही जम्मू व कश्मीर आएं | इसीलिए प्रतिदिन बड़ी संख्या में बिना registration के पहुंचने वाले हजारों श्रद्धालुओं को तत्काल सुविधा के अंतर्गत adjust करना संभव नहीं है। अतः ऐसे श्रद्धालुओं से अनुरोध है कि वे अपने क्रम (Turn) की प्रतीक्षा करें तथा प्रशासन द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए जाने वाले तिथि के अनुसार ही यात्रा करें। यह भी देखा गया है कि अनेक registered श्रद्धालु अपने registration date से पूर्व यात्रा हेतु जम्मू और कश्मीर पहुंच रहे हैं। किसी भी श्रद्धालु को उसकी registration date से पहले यात्रा की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। कृपया अपने registered date के अनुसार ही यात्रा के लिए आएं। जो श्रद्धालु बिना registration के जम्मू व कश्मीर पहुचे हैं, उनसे पुनः अनुरोध है कि वे अपने क्रम (Turn) की प्रतीक्षा करें। निश्चिंत रहें, सभी श्रद्धालुओं को यात्रा करने का अवसर मिलेगा, परंतु यह निर्धारित प्रक्रिया एवं उपलब्ध क्षमता के अनुसार ही संभव होगा। आप सभी से अनुरोध है कि व्यवस्था बनाए रखें तथा सभी की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने हेतु प्रशासन का सहयोग करें।

All preparations are in place for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026. Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar said that the J&K Administration has completed all arrangements for the pilgrimage beginning on July 3. Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias, and @igp_jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, today held a press conference and briefed media fraternity on the comprehensive security, logistical and administrative arrangements put in place for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2026. They urged the pilgrims for strictly following the cut-off timings and guidelines issued by Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and the District Administrations to ensure a spiritually enriching and convenient experience of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026. The pilgrims are required to enter Lakhanpur, Kathua from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM for proceeding towards Jammu in mini-convoys. After 8:00 PM they can spend for the night at Lakhanpur in the Government accommodations especially set up for the pilgrims. Pilgrims must travel strictly via National Highway 44 (NH-44). Alternative routes such as Dhar Road or Mughal Road are strictly out of bounds for Yatra vehicles. Drivers must ensure full fuel tanks before joining convoys and strictly avoid driving under the influence. Pilgrims who are travelling in personal vehicles towards Srinagar must strictly adhere to cut-off timings set by the traffic department, with vehicles required to cross the Nagrota TCP between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Jakhani by 1:00 PM, Chanderkote by 2:00 PM and Banihal by 3:00 PM in order to enter Kashmir in day light. Pilgrims who are reaching by train, can receive RFID card at Udhampur railway station. Pilgrims can also receive the RFID cards at Chanderkote and Banihal in Ramban.

The Div Com said that the administration has made comprehensive arrangements for the pilgrims in all five districts of Jammu Division where the Yatra route falls with regard to on-spot registration, RFID card, KYC centres, accommodation, langer facilities, health care, sanitation, drinking water, power supply and security arrangements. Highlighting the significance of the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnathji, the Div Com emphasised the role of civil society members, social & religious organisation and the people of Jammu as the host to the national event in which people from all over the country and world participate with immense devotion and spirituality. During the meeting, members of the Civil Society shared their views and suggestions for providing the best and memorable experience to the pilgrims. The Div Com said that their valuable suggestions shall be incorporated in ensuring robust arrangements. He expressed gratitude for the support and assistance from their end for welfare of the Pilgrims.

The Dry Run of Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2026 was conducted today from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas to Banihal, Ramban in Jammu division. Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias , @igp_jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, IG CRPF @jammusector reviewed the elaborate arrangements put in place for convoy movement, security and facilities for pilgrims during their halts at Chanderkote and Banihal in Ramban.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu, @Rameshkumarias and @igp_jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, today reviewed arrangements for smooth conduct of Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2026 at Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas and the Tawi Riverfront Token and Registration Centre. The Div Com was apprised that all essential preparations and works at the Yatri Niwas camp have been put in place. Facilities for accommodation, drinking water, power supply, locker rooms, washrooms, illumination and other amenities have been set up at the Yatri Niwas, along with a health facility with doctors, paramedics and medical stock, and a round-the-clock control room with dedicated teams from line departments to ensure the best services for pilgrims. The Div Com and IGP Jammu also visited the Token and Registration Centre at Tawi Riverfront, where they took a comprehensive review of arrangements for security, frisking points, multiple token and registration counters, drinking water, German hangars and barricading for smooth on-the-spot registration of pilgrims.

During the visit, the Divisional Commissioner inspected the Yatra Camp at Lamber and reviewed the facilities being established for pilgrims, including accommodation, sanitation, drinking water supply, uninterrupted power availability, medical care and security arrangements. While reviewing the overall preparedness, the Divisional Commissioner stressed on close coordination among all stakeholder departments to ensure efficient service delivery and hassle-free movement of pilgrims. He called upon the officers to work in a mission mode and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and public convenience at all Yatra-related facilities.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias, on Monday chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela Yatra to be flagged off from Nagrota, Jammu on June 20. Concerned departments were directed to ensure robust arrangements for the security of devotees, uninterrupted electricity and water supply, sanitation, traffic management, medical facilities, tents and transportation at the venue.
