Appalled to receive a letter on my daughter (with #cysticfibrosis) poor school attendance (due to clinics & illness). Subtle threats incl legal action if we do not take steps to improve her attendance next year. Grossly insensitive & upsetting. You can imagine my reply.

So pleased teachers get a fully funded pay rise, have seen so many school services cut / merged due to lack of funding. Sad my expectations are so low that I'm happy with that, but honestly had a little moment when I read it #publicsector #payrise #education
