@kipmurkomen You are a person of interest in this matter. What did you do to her ? what prompted you visit her specifically today and not tomorrow or yesterday? You need to record a statement on what happened or what you saw while at the hospital.

I am profoundly saddened to learn of the demise of Ms Rachel Wandetto, which happened this morning at the Kenyatta National Hospital following a heinous attack by a vile and intolerant group of people. Her passing is deeply disturbing. No one deserves to be injured or killed for their political views or affiliation in this day and age. It should prick the conscience of those propagating politics of hate, violence and division. When I visited Rachel in the hospital last evening, her face showed resilience and courage. It is quite unfortunate that she lost the fight. We shall bring the perpetrators of this senseless act to book. Rachel will get justice. I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends for this painful loss. The government stands with you in this time of immense grief.

The pictures you see Linda mwananchi team sharing about kisumu rally is Artificial intelligence generated (AI) photos. Kisumu is a Tutam zone ONLY the AI photos shared by Linda Mwananchi team will not translate to votes. The few who came to see Linda mwananchi team is the case of an hyena and a sheep in a market day. They were there for fun day !!. Oburu Odinga is undisputed luo kingpin.

Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions. Like few other leaders anywhere, he was willing to choose the path of peaceful reconciliation without compromising his core values. Through his life, Raila Odinga set an example not just for Kenyans, but across Africa and around the world. I know he will be missed. Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and to the people of Kenya.

“A new report reveals the late Raila Odinga is the only top politician who never sued the media, even if criticized.” Source MOE here on X @moneyacademyKE . That one line says a lot about who Raila was, a man who believed in the power of free speech, even when it worked against him. He understood that leadership wasn’t about silencing voices, but about listening, especially when the truth was uncomfortable. To mourn Raila Odinga is to remember the father of Kenya’s democracy, a man who spent his life fighting systems that wanted to break him, and still showed up every single time.He might have had his flaws, yes, he was human after all, but there will never be another Raila. A man who turned pain into purpose, defeat into movement, and criticism into courage. He taught us that democracy isn’t given, it’s fought for. That freedom isn’t free, it’s earned through sacrifice, patience, and endless resilience. For decades, he stood where others feared to stand. He faced imprisonment, exile, betrayal, and still came back with the same message: Kenya must be free. And maybe that’s why this loss feels so personal. Because Raila wasn’t just a politician, he was a symbol of resistance, of hope, and of dreams that outlived generations. He carried the voice of millions, inspired loyalty and criticism in equal measure, and through it all, he never lost his sense of dignity. He wasn’t perfect. He made mistakes, took risks, and sometimes got it wrong, but he never stopped believing that Kenya could be better. And that belief alone changed this country forever.

One thing I deeply admired about Raila was his unmatched resilience. The man went through storms that would have broken most people …imprisonment, failure, betrayal, political humiliation, yet he kept rising, again and again. That kind of spirit is forged through pain and purpose. When you think of resilience, think of Baba. He lived it.

@TheLoudCrowd254 @ItsMainaKageni Was he the only option. What do you mean "when people needes him ..." Anyone would have led a revolution even you. Problem is there was no Raila to use after he refused to protest. Baba didn't tell any1 to stop maandamano. But he is blamed bcoz he never sent his people to die.

@ItsMainaKageni No one will ever take that away from the man but are you saying we should turn a blind eye to everything else he's done or failed to do. The man claimed for the people but when the people actually needed him, he decided it was the right time to abandon them for a share

Jameni Kenya 🇰🇪. Let’s have an honest conversation. Some of you seem to have forgotten—or never understood—what this moment truly means. If it weren’t for Baba, many of the freedoms you enjoy today wouldn’t exist. Political pluralism. Electoral transparency. The 2010 Constitution. Devolution. Even the freedom of speech some of you are misusing right now. Yes, I’m also talking to you—keyboard warriors spewing hate and insults at Raila Odinga, even in his passing. Shame on you! Let’s put some respect on the name Raila Amolo Odinga. If you can’t show decency, then kindly—be silent. I said it. It needed to be said. Let’s talk. Let’s reflect. @Dr_AustinOmondi These people don't realise that when you're born in Western there's just a special strand of DNA that is attached to Baba and the pain of losing him pierces deep within our hearts. We embrace our mourning culture regardless of the minority backlash.

@Kimuzi_ Since Baba died govt bloggers have been quiet, you know why? All they had to do is plant the seed of divide and conquer. You had to be wise to understand that Baba never loved chaos & if it meant losing he was ready to do so. Unfortunately many will realize this when its too late

When all is said and done, the truth shall eventually prevail. Raila was never the Lord of violence. If you have been keen, that narrative was pushed by Ruto and his cronies, si that when violence will erupt, they will have a justification. "Look, we told you, Lord of violence at it again". Cause and effect. That mammoth crowd could have taken the presidency within a day. That is, if Raila wanted. But man's chose peace. His heart wants hardened like others. Now that many eyes are open we all know, Raila will always remain a legend.

@sammyikua @georgediano You're wrong. So many GenZ are live on TV being very vocal of Raila's passing, visibly distraught and remembering him in many different ways. The GenZ you're talking about are less than 20% of all Genz

We will mourn Raila Odinga like we never had any differences with him. We will mourn him not because he was always good to us, but because the democracy we enjoy today stands on his shoulders. He bears the scars, and he deserves the credit.🕊️

@karigoh It should be noted "X" users(millenials) have been labelled as ignorant and lack direction by Genzs. Atleast tiktok users can differentiate who had the power to kill during demonstrations. Without Baba the demonstrations faded and some of you decided let's blame Raila.
