In the now defunct NHIF, high earners like COOP CEO Gideon Muriuki who earns 31 million a month would be paying Kshs 1700 while an average Kenyan earning 50,000 would pay 1200. Equitable remittances are a game changer.

No this is Robinhood theft it would make sense if the person being deducted got the value for all this amount. If he’s paying 852,000 per month he deserves to get all the quality services and the best houses in that housing levy stuff for 465,000. You can’t punish people for doing good in life and enjoying the fruits of their labour. This is theft what we call raiding the citizens payslips.
