@AnxietreeDev Yeah for sure. I agree fully. I did 3d for cool art but could never use it for game dev. I'm actually working on an indie title with a team of 11 people. Not one of us know pixel art and it's the art style we chose 💀😭

@Divine_LUCIDITY 3D's dope, I just couldn't output it fast enough to make entire scenes/games in any reasonable time Pixel art shines because a tileset and a little bit of clutter + a tiny bit of animation and FX and you can make an entire very satisfying experience super quick! with polish🍻

@Divine_LUCIDITY It's a VERY satisfying medium, I did 2 years of 3D, 2 years of traditional and all the time i spent in pixel art was always the most fun, esp low res work Pixel Dailies (The account, hashtag & discord) is an excellent source of practise and inspo :) PS. nice potion :D

@Divine_LUCIDITY Extremely casually every couple of months for mods ON and Off for about 12 years but i only got 'good' at it & started going ham on it really since like last christmas lmao I couldn't animate at all 12 months ago, just forced myself through infinite tutorials for a year-paid off
