Diljit Dosanjh on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, He says I am from Punjab, Man proudly repped Punjab (as he should), talked about his roots, culture, music everything. But not once did he actually mention India. Not even in passing.
If you are celebraty and appearing on a massive global platform, you would introduce yourself with your country and not only the state.
Is this just strong regional pride or a very calculated branding move where "Punjab" is the identity he wants to push internationally? I have seen, it's becoming a pattern across his interviews.
What's your view?

An elderly spectator was struck by a powerful six from Shreyas Iyer in the Indian Premier League.
In many other sports, an incident like this could lead to games being halted and widespread protests but in cricket, it barely gets discussed.
What if it had been a child? Why aren’t protective nets or barriers installed to safeguard spectators? Imagine paying 10k just to get hit by a ball?
Just like other sports, cricket also needs stricter safety measures for fans! Or atleast a courtesy apology from the cricketer

It is still 5.33 MMT in 2026.

Met a 62 year old retiree today here in Tampa who used to work for Oracle in SFO.
He said he had heard a lot of good things about India from his Indian colleagues. So when he decided to retire from work at 58 and moved to Tampa, he took a vacation to India and Sri Lanka.
He said and I quote (and agree with him) - 'rather than feeling relaxed, India makes you feel anxious, overwhelmed and exhausted. Sri Lanka on the other hand made me feel relaxed.'
He further mentioned that at most of the tourist places, everyone is keen to scam you.
I laughed it off and changed the topic. Because deep down I know there is truth to what he said and experienced.

🚨PROJECT LIGHTHOUSE: Toronto Police (TPS) have arrested 3 Chinese Foreign nationals and laid 44 charges in a sophisticated cybercrime investigation.
According to police, the individuals used a mobile SMS blaster that mimics a legitimate cellular tower that targets mobile devices.
When activated, it causes nearby mobile phones to connect to it instead of a real network. Once connected, the device sends fraudulent text messages and can prevent users from contacting emergency services.
