Voting is a right, not a privilege. The SAVE Act won’t save anything. It will strip Americans of their right to vote. We have to fight back to protect our democracy.

@TheMoneyApe What’s different about extending a cease fire? That doesn’t solve anything and kicks any solutions for another 60 days. Why is this good? We don’t have “fire” happening right now.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 U.S. & IRAN ARE CLOSING IN ON A DEAL THAT WOULD EXTEND THEIR CEASEFIRE BY 60 DAYS. RUBIO SAID A DECISION COULD COME VERY SOON. "THIS NEEDS TO BE SOLVED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER." HERE'S THE DEAL FRAMEWORK... see below

@beerandtokens You can still get TV with an antenna. But you won’t. You could get a single low cost Vonage type phone instead of a cell. But you won’t.

Again, this is a total different world. You didn’t buy Netflix and all of that. But TV was free. Now it’s not. You went to the movies, now people watch them on Amazon Prime. You need a cell phone to exist in today’s world. You had a land line. “We were frugal”. No.. you just existed in a world that was different and had less financial demands.
Todd Nida@ToddNidasqM

Back in the 70s we didn't take lavish vacations and didn't spend on iPhones, Netflix, Prime, Paramont +, internet, Amazon, DoorDash, and dining out all the time. Nowadays, people just choose to spend their money differently. Apartments were not luxury with exercise rooms, rooftop pools, and balconies. It was just different. Much more simple and money went a lot further.

The only reason I would ever skip my kid's wedding is if something absolutely MASSIVE was about to go down. So massive that missing the wedding would look small by comparison, even in hindsight... ...we are going to war, aren't we?

I wish Tulsi Gabbard well and I hope her husband recovers from cancer. That being said, I reported months ago that @TulsiGabbard would be resigning soon and I was viciously attacked and smeared because the media refuses to treat me with respect and I am constantly ignored when my reporting is literally better than anyone’s. I am getting tired of it. The media needs to learn that my sourcing is accurate and I am much quicker than all of them.

Nah dude. You, and other billionaires, are a huge negative on society Increasing economic inequality in the industrialized world has decreased quality of life, birth rates, and life expectancy. It has decimated our political system, weakened science, and ravaged the environment

The burrito is $17 because their operation costs are more expensive. If everybody stopped buying chipotle they will just lay ppl off not drop the prices. This isn’t an organic market issue. It’s an artificial inflationary issue. Stop absolving the government from responsibility.
Tara@EmbracingTara

Chipotle burritos cost $17 because the market supports $17 burritos If everyone said, I'm not paying $17 for a burrito, fuck that, Chipotle burritos wouldn't cost $17. Chipotle burritos cost me $0.00. Do you know why? I choose not to purchase them. Is this clocking at all?

Mr. Bezos: Let's have that debate. Under my 5% billionaires wealth tax, we'd: -Give $12K to a working family of 4 -Expand Medicare for dental, vision, hearing -Guarantee universal childcare -Raise starting teacher pay to $60K And you'd still be worth $269 billion after taxes.
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS

Jeff Bezos on CNBC: "If people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate, but don't pretend that that's gonna solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens.... Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing high rent is government intervention."

Telling people "figure out ways to increase your income" is far better advice for 90% of financially struggling professionals than "don't get that scoop of avocado at chipotle, it really adds up over time" Yes, saving matters. But earning more makes saving much easier.

The way the internet has responded to this is so wild to me Turns out there’s a whole generation that doesn’t believe they can ever succeed in life so they just YOLO their money on stupid shit like DoorDash Meanwhile I’m making 10x what they are and I’m making lunch and meals and NOT doing DoorDash Sacrifice is literally how I saved $200K to be able to get a home It took me over a decade to do that Entitlement and lack of delayed gratification is destroying a whole generation How did we get here?

The billionaires who funded Ed Gallrein have their momentary victory against the only man with the testicular fortitude to go head-to-head with the Epstein class. In their view, they defeated not just Massie but the people of Kentucky, and, more broadly, Americans at large. Particularly the youth. Think about that for a minute. Perhaps that’s the most consequential point here. This was never about the will of the people. Less and less elections are. Thus, we face a very dangerous point in what is supposed to be a democratic process, void of foreign or special interests. That doesn’t exist anymore, apparently. Most people I’m seeing on social media are furious about this. The relentless attacks on Massie by key figures in the admin haven’t only angered them, but this race as a whole has activated them in a way that will backfire not only on Republicans but Democrats too for possibly years to come. Why? Because people are sick and tired of empty promises that lead to more of the same, regardless of which “side” wins. More wars, more surveillance state, more growing government, more debt, more protection for the powerful. It doesn’t matter who you vote for. They all lie, gaslight, use dirty tricks and achieve zero accountability against those who have wronged the people. They behave as though they think of us as nothing more than peasants fit to have our wealth and livelihoods extracted to the last drop until it’s time for us to be discarded. But guess what? The people have absolutely had enough of being dictated to by this parasitic class. The future generation is largely rejecting their AI demon god, and the youth are mad about the fact that not a single person in power behaves as though they truly care for their future. This race isn’t the end. In fact, it sparked a metamorphosis that they didn’t care to pay attention to at the time, but will become impossible to ignore in the months to come at the polls. Good luck in the midterms and beyond.
