The University of Delhi admits students primarily based on the CUET scores, and the standard admission process does not mandate interviews for most undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.If the Leader of Opposition was referring to recruitments (such as faculty positions), the University in the recent past has recruited thousands of teachers across all categories. We strongly object to such comments, as they create a non-conducive environment in the University. The Leader of Opposition should have verified the facts before making such a statement. @EduMinOfIndia

Another semester of teaching! In July 2023, after joining KU, I decided to teach MSc students. Today I taught spectroscopy to MSc students! It’s very difficult at times, but it’s doable!

Predatory publications have been the biggest issue and India contributes about 30%. Kumaun University development a robust mechanism so that publications in standard journals are considered for appointments and promotions.

Kumaun University started a short term skill course at Kumaun University and SETU ayog, TATA STRIVE, HED were the Patner. Its four month course and teaching/training was done by them. All 18 students got job in good hotels!
