People criticizing her for saying this and immediately using Friends as their reference are showing their ignorance because The Comeback is one of the most groundbreaking comedy series of all time and is entirely based around making the audience uncomfortable

The past 2 weeks, the same Dems who forced Liz Cheney on us, refused to have a single Palestinian speaker at the DNC, and continue going on Bill Maher's show without ever once pushing back on his racism and Islamophobia, have been OBSESSED with Hasan Piker.
They realize they no longer control the majority or the party.
Curious if they will adapt or try to burn it all down.
I predict the latter.

I knew The Comeback would take two episodes to get right on track (even though I loved the first two episodes). Episode 3 was AMAZING! Love how they explored Valerie’s grief losing Mickey. Lisa Kudrow is fantastic… another Emmy will be on her shelf! Also very funny that the writer hated the “aww-ick” of the sitcom and this episode was so sentimental. Genius!
Also, I cried at the end! 😭

Thing is, this is a) trying to impose a different opinion on me via insult, b) asserting there’s nothing wrong (I could actually list why I don’t think it’s appropriate but they deleted their post already and anyway I’m not required to justify myself. Discuss? Sure. But not when someone comes in with insults) and c) oh look had to go do a misogyny.

This may be my Britishness speaking but unless you’re in a club or something this kind of behaviour is inappropriate in public whoever is doing it and you will get a side eye.
I wouldn’t take a video though. I don’t know who took this video but when I did kiss a bloke like this *in a club* (and not a “gay club”) some people did watch, and some clapped. One even came and told me how brave I was. 🫠
Most of the time it’s people looking at something they don’t see “in the wild” not “homophobia”.
But mostly - I don’t think people should do this in public at all really. I don’t want to be involved in your foreplay scene thanks.

I didn't know who Hasan Piker is until white gays started flooding the algorithm with his thirst traps without one concern about how horrible of a person he is.
So don't assume just just because you keep you eye out for terrible people you can align yourself with that everyone else does the same.

Amy Adams earned an Oscar nomination for her performance in Doubt & this was the performance where Adams really caught my attention, largely because she holds her own with actors like Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I’m excited for Adams to star in the Cape Fear remake.

@OscarRunnerUp She was great in that movie. But if I were to change that line up, I’d swap out Annette Bening for Natalie Portman in May December first. Then maybe Carey Mulligan for Margot? But Carey was also great in Maestro so that’s tough. And there’s also Greta Lee to consider.
