I’ve just finished another round of interviews for my book. The lesson I keep learning: Prepare well. Make it easy. Respect people’s time. Then, once they’re up and running, hold back. That’s often when the real story appears.

How do I ask test readers for advice and feedback on my book? Make it easy. Tell them why I chose them. Give them some questions to answer. Say thank you.
