🚨🚨ANN WIDDECOMBE
Police update
Man 28yo white man arrested , not looking for anyone else
No terrorist link nor political motivation identified at this time
Bottom line now is Farage needs arresting for interference in a live police investigation and posting misinformation in relation to the circumstances
He has manipulated the situation for cheap political gain.

@BruceUnfiltered Never seen a more looking Dave in my life....he needs sacking! Freak!
English

Disgusting.
The University of Aberdeen says it is “looking into” comments made by employee Heather Herbert after she publicly celebrated the death of former MP Ann Widdecombe.
Responding to the announcement, Herbert wrote:
“Some good news for once. I hope it was an extremely painful death.”
She then added:
“I hope she was handcuffed to the bed as she screamed in agony.”
A local report says Herbert offered no apology when questioned, while the university confirmed it was examining the matter.
You can disagree with every political position Ann Widdecombe ever held. You can criticise her record, her beliefs and her words. But publicly fantasising about a 78-year-old woman being restrained and screaming in agony is not political criticism. It is grotesque.
The University of Aberdeen now needs to decide whether this conduct meets the standards it expects from somebody publicly identified as one of its employees.
And “looking into it” cannot simply become the usual holding statement until the outrage disappears.

NEW🚨: The awful man who celebrates poor Ann‘s death was a @UKLabour candidate.
will she be removed from the party? @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @andyburnham @labourpress

English

@labourpress The bin has more bottle than the establishment that's why.....embarrassing
English

You're not fighting the establishment. You're fighting a bin.
Nigel Farage@Nigel_Farage
In 2024, I told Clacton that I would fight for them against the establishment. They are trying to destroy me for it — but I will never stop.
English

@memeticsisyphus Having an opinion and shouting racist abuse is 2 totally different things. Don't try and spin it that it isn't.
English

@Keir_Starmer Never seen you share a pic of the Stockport murderer..... you really hate white people and its embarrassing!
English

Absolutely appalling.
No one should face violence on our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this - he will face the full force of the law.
My thoughts are with those who are injured and I thank the police and the emergency services for their response.

🚨👶 Jérémy Doku could temporarily leave Belgium's World Cup camp to be present for the birth of his son, and the debate has exploded across Europe. 🇧🇪
French journalist France Pierron didn't hold back:
🗣️ Pierron: "Are you seriously telling me these players have sacrificed everything to come to the World Cup, and you're leaving just to cut an umbilical cord? 😳
You're lucky enough to play in a World Cup. It's an incredible privilege, and hundreds of footballers would do anything to be in your position. That opportunity might never come around again in your life.
And you're going to throw it all away just to attend your child's birth?
It's a moment where the father isn't really needed. He has a symbolic role. You hold her hand and take a photo. And then what?
You're going to miss 10 hours, experience an emotional high, and be exhausted afterwards. You can't miss a World Cup.
Some people may have gone into debt just to get to the World Cup, maybe sacrificed everything to be there, and you're leaving to cut an umbilical cord..." 😳
The reaction has completely split fans. Some believe family comes before everything, while others see the World Cup as an opportunity that may never come around again. 🌍
What would you do: stay with your national team or be there for your son's birth? 🤔

English

@TheKopoholic Meh, will wait and judge after a season but doesn't excite me.
English

Bellingham - GOAL.
Rashford - GOAL.
Saka - ASSIST.
Bet the far-right are seething.

@ZackPolanski People like you have caused this mess and just want to point fingers at everyone who is fed up of the mess
English

Politicians who fanned these flames should hang their heads in shame.
Time and again we've seen this story play out. Single incidents used to fuel a far right narrative - and communities across the nation paying the price.

The rioters have set a house on fire in Belfast.
English

@jeremycorbyn You speak out about this and not Belfast? I wonder why?
English

What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

@LizWebsterSBF Yet the greens want to fill the country with immigrants until every woman wears a burka....
Make it make sense!

#bbcqt “I'd rather have a career politician than a plumber who's a sexist!”
The question asked most about Reform’s Makerfield candidate was about comments he’s made about women.

@Corballyred Emery, came from a little PL club called Arsenal and won a European trophy with Villa 🤣
English

Look Iraola is a massive gamble, that's undeniable.
No manager has come from a smaller PL club to a bigger PL in 20 years and succeeded.
And I don't trust Richard Hughes judgement.
But I love the football his Bournemouth teams played.
I love the intensity and hard work he demands from players.
And I adored our last Spanish manager.
I'm already far more excited about the new season than if Slot stayed
So welcome to Liverpool Andoni Iraola 🇪🇸
