Being in DC in person yesterday, where an estimated 300,000+ people were on the National Mall despite suffering through both a heat wave and a thunderstorm, has helped me better realize something that I had known all along, but which I rarely ever had first-hand evidence to confirm.
All these people do is lie about everything for the sole purpose of demoralizing their ideological enemies.

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

I keep hearing Claude is superior to Chatgpt, and I don't doubt it, I would use a less aligned service that performs better for me(why I'm not using Grok)

@bubbleboi they just cut the big crystal in half down the long edge, which creates the taiwanese subway™. then they cut off one (1) single long wafer from each half of the sub and cut that into even squares. the other 99.9% goes to the glass factory where they make microsoft windows.

The SSID isn't the only thing about the device being broadcast; just like not every john smith is the same person; not every wifi network of the same name is the same device.
