Hyperliquid just crossed $100M+ annualized run-rate from builder codes, with 80+ active builders in the ecosystem as of Q1 2026.
But the bullish part is how fast this happened.
How Hyperliquid third-party ecosystem revenue grew over time:
• in Q1 2025 it was $23M
• in Q2 2025 it dropped to $5M
• in Q3 2025 revenue exploded to $76M
• in Q4 2025 it grew further to $91M
• in Q1 2026 it reached a new ATH of $104M+
At first people traded on Hyperliquid, then people started building on Hyperliquid.
Eventually Hyperliquid may become a Financial App Store where other apps build their businesses on top of its liquidity and infrastructure.

Posted this tweet on June 24 when $HYPE was $40. We went on a run in the following months to ATHs really close to $60.
And the thesis still stands; if anything, it is even stronger now.
- HIP-3 (Builder-deployed perpetuals) became a huge success, bringing millions of dollars in volume and revenue and pushing the boundaries of what can be traded on-chain. From commodities like Gold, Silver, Oil, to the S&P 500.
- HIP 4. I don't think people realize how big HIP-4 will actually be. Institutions are pouring money into Polymarket and other prediction markets. Little do they know, a huge number of top players in those prediction markets actively use Hyperliquid. Once it launches, I can see another HIP moment for HYPE where it catches a ton of volume from a completely different space.
- Hyperliqud's potential new airdrop season still stands. And whenever that does happen, I can expect activity in the platform to increase. And the thing is, Hyperliquid is so good that people will get hooked and keep generating volume, which ultimately means more HYPE burned via the AF fund.
- VC and institutional money are still sidelined. It seems as if that is changing; regulations play a big part here, so this one could take a while. But it is coming nonetheless.
- Potential of becoming THE exchange where tokens want to be listed due to fees, underlying tokenomics, and liquidity. This one is more true now than ever before. Markets like Oil, S&P 500, US Stocks, etc, HL is becoming the hub to trade those 24/7.
- Community. The community has been strong. Crazy to see that even during the dip, everyone stuck through it. Resilience is an understatement, and other than that, a huge part of the community are builders as well, so they really believe in what they are doing.
Being both in the trading space and in the building space makes me so bullish on the future of web3.
Seems like more and more genuine teams are joining to do interesting things. So excited to see where it all goes.

Thesis on why $HYPE will fly in the next few months. - HIP-3 (Builder-deployed perpetuals) coming soon. A lot more Hype will be burned due to deployment gas paid through a Dutch auction every 31 hours and acquired by the AF. And more new projects/builders will come to Hyperliquid to create their own markets. - Hyperliquid applications/protocols TGEs. At some point, all of those points that people earn using platforms and protocols could become a token. It becomes a potential for a liquidity influx into HYPE. - Hyperliqud's potential new airdrop season. @HyperliquidX announcing a new airdrop season will bring a huge number of users. Hyperliquid now has only around 500k users, and $HYPE itself only has ~135k in Core. I expect that number to double. - VC and institutional money are still sidelined. It could change soon with iHYPE from Kinetiq and other cool stuff coming soon. - Potential of becoming THE exchange where tokens want to be listed due to fees, underlying tokenomics, and liquidity. - Community. It feels like Hyperliquid's community keeps on growing, but at the same time, the base and core are all super in tune with the product, and most of them are obsessed with it. And a huge part of it is that a big part of the community are builders, not any builders, like real OG, experienced, goated builders. So many bullish dapps out there, and so many more coming out.
