We bought @VandyFootball season tickets again this year despite living 300 miles away and not being able to attend most games in 2024 due to Hurricane Helene. We're really glad we did. Yes, winning and an exciting team helps A LOT. But my goodness, the game day ops unit at Vandy has been at the top of their game. The game day experience is FUN. The sound system is awesome, the lighting is great, and they have pulled out all the stops--drone show, parachutists, Fast Life Youngstaz singing Swag Surfin', and lots of camera shots of fans (esp. kids) having FUN. And terrific choices in music--"Shout" is now a gameday standard and "In The Air Tonight" just kicks. (I'm less wild about "Mr. Brightside," just because it's overused at so many venues. Bring back "Wagon Wheel"!) Kudos to @VandyAD and everyone involved. And thank you, fans, for being engaged and so loud at critical times during the last few games.
