@Jei_Cos @alexutopia But the human could do something productive for humans instead of commissioning art that can be made with ai in few seconds and AI doesn't mash images, it's basically a Google Translate for art but it has some randomizing and filling the prompt.

@alexutopia Ai is basically like commissioning someone to make art for you, telling them to use the references you give them to mash something together, and saying "look what I made". The difference is that you aren't paying a human with ai. That job could have helped an actual human out.

If AI art is theft, then inspiration was illegal the whole time. Artists study artists. Culture builds on culture. That's how art works. You don't get to invent a new definition of stealing because your status feels threatened.

@rileiidfk @elevendr69 @BetaEtaDelota In effect the process is similar, but it does not access images while generating. AI image generator functions very similar to Google Translate. It learns on data and makes a function to translate the prompt to pixel colors. (It likely has an LLM inside to randomly give details)

@DmytroGames @elevendr69 @BetaEtaDelota Not to mention that it also takes every piece of art that artists have actually drawn its ever seen or thats out on the internet and smashes it all together to vaguely get what youre asking it to create. AI is literally just theaft.
