#dailysidequest The town is eerily quiet, especially given the decorations and food laid out for a festival. Strange shuffling sounds come from town hall. Inside, folk dance silently and jerkily. Barely visible web strings connect them to giant spider puppeteers in the rafters.

Been DMing a Spelljammer-ish campaign for a while. My PCs flew their awakened tree space canoe to sneak on an evil corporate ship while their main ship, a worm-like thing made of rocks, smacked missiles out of the way w/ two Bigby's hands. Put that in your sourcebooks, cowards.

Alrighty folks, I've enjoyed some downtime but need to motivate myself to make something interesting. So, I'm going to roll on my d100 tables and make a one page one shot for the result. We'll start with this gem from before I even used #dailysidequest

#dnd5e adventure idea: A copse of treants on an island gets tired of crews landing and cutting down their trees for campfires and ship repairs. They painfully modify themselves to form a living ship when they come together. The treants take to the sea to sink as many as possible.

@ProDMTimothy I used the major arcana from a tarot deck as a monster. The party drew cards in threes and chose one to try to craft a prophetic vision. The other cards spawned as giant versions of themselves with low HP and high CR monster abilities. Also a beholder was there, but a nice one.
