🫶💭Tonights pillow thoughts.. I used to measure everything in speed. How fast can I get there. How fast can I build it. How fast can I prove it. Then I slowed down long enough to realize the things I was chasing the hardest were the things pulling me furthest from what actually mattered. Not because the ambition was wrong. Because somewhere along the way, the purpose got buried under the performance. We all do it. We run so fast we forget what we were running toward. We say yes to everything and wonder why nothing feels like enough. We build lives that look right but don’t feel right. And we don’t talk about it because everyone around us seems to have it figured out. They don’t. The people I admire most aren’t the loudest or the most accomplished. They’re the ones who protect what’s sacred to them. Their peace. Their people. Their truth. They build their lives around what actually matters and they stop apologizing for what doesn’t make the list or align to what everyone else wants for them. They’re raw, and authentic. That’s not settling. That’s the most powerful thing a person can do. The people in your life can feel it. They know when you’re present and when you’re performing. They know when your love is real and when it’s running on autopilot. They’ll stay forever for the real version of you. But they’ll quietly drift from the highlight reel. Oof if you have been a broker since 2023 or so...this is going to be a rough one. From 2023 -2025 it was super easy to find capacity. I remember calling brokers and their phones in the background were ringing off the hook. Almost always the same: "please hold"- "covered" (when the load has been out for less than a minute).
