@Jawmuncher plus there's even the fact that there's the amount of disc printed. If only 100k is printed, then sales are not going to surpass that. It's not a catch all, I'm sure some physical sales are low, but I'm also sure many are arbitrarily limited too.

Have seen this going around and feel it needs to be said
- Data is US Only
- 100K is the low end, titles like Resident Evil Requiem sold more than that physically
- Physical has been selling less than digital for awhile now, that doesnt mean we should accept less consumer rights

I’ve long accepted a digital future, but I didn’t think Sony would end disc production for PS5 so soon. I love physical games but I’m not “no disc no buy”. That being said, if I’m going to build a digital library it’s absolutely NOT going to be on PlayStation lmao.

@GundamIsHere Xbox is drumming up their own bad PR. Sony has the spotlight but seeing people’s libraries and accounts arbitrarily going away on Xbox doesn’t paint them as a safe alternative. On top of the big layoffs they’re doing, I’d slot them in the same pile as Sony for a good measure.

@ShingujiBlade_ I think it's best to just buy the indies elsewhere. Unless all you have is a ps4 and a phone and nothing else, then I guess there's not much choice. But if you got anything else along side your ps5, then maybe consider unplugging it for a while.

@_Chrysalia @CryoThe2nd Well luckily it’s remade by the same people, while DS was remade by an entirely different team. So there’s nothing much that can get lost in translation/transition when Falcom can just pull up old resources and tap on the shoulders of whoever worked on it.

No, I’m not saying “new bad, old GOOOD”. The graphics ARE objectively better. However, a newer version of something can still fail to capture the atmosphere of the first.

@myretrolifeshow I wouldn’t chuck it. Gonna probably be Sony’s last disc console so having access could have value. Plus since it’s getting pricey, getting one back down the line could be a pain. Pretty sure you can still play media from it, pop in a usb stick with movies and cut streaming.

I'm thinking of selling my PS5. Just kind of disgusted with Sony and modern gaming in general.
My daughter and I love our Switch 2 and she barely plays anything on PlayStation.

@SonicHero3D I think the line in the sand does move around as more games come out. The good parts of a game gets kind of taken for granted in a sense when it’s missing or even different in the next game. SwSh is a bit stinky but it ran a bit better and the not open field stuff was nice vs S/V

Not a single example shown in the video remotely sells me on why having a 6th finger/extra thumb would be more useful.
I'd respect this technology far more if the focus was showcasing amputees and how it can give them mobility back.
