I stopped wearing white coat routinely because every Tom (Homeopathy), Dick (Ayurveda) and Harry (Naturopathy) on social media started to wear one as a tool for false authority/credibility. Recently an Ayurveda graduate with the IQ of a sterile rolled gauze piece came wearing one ONLINE to debate me on science and pseudoscience. In India, the white coat is soon becoming a sign to mask professional inferiority complex or a desperate, beggarly appeal for recognition in medical and health for pseudoscience peddlers and legalized quacks because the government here has messed up the medical hierarchy (even letting physiotherapists use the title of Dr.). So lose the coat. Doesn't matter anymore.
Medscape@Medscape

While the white coat remains a powerful symbol in medical education, its daily utility is shifting as clinicians prioritize comfort and approachability. Recent studies suggest that patient trust is built through demeanor and communication rather than attire, leading many physicians to favor fleece jackets or scrubs. Do you still view the white coat as an essential component of professional identity? mdsc.pe/3QARQBb

Jaanwar se badtar haalat mein hazaaron log Manipur ke relief camps mein rehne majboor hain. Meiteis aur Kukis dono hi. Request all of you to take out 5 minutes and see my report from #Manipur. People are living in beyond inhumane conditions .. they’re dying. The least we can do is know their stories. Over 58,000 internally displaced people, as I write this .. acc to official government data ..are living in over 200 relief camps across the state. And Mr PM, while you’re in the neighbouring state playing football with children, people in Manipur are sleeping on pavements meant for vegetable and fish vendors, living next to drains and gutters. Girls can’t even step out at night to use the toilets because they’re afraid they’ll be RAPED or KILLED. Because this is happening with girls inside relief camps...it’s just not all coming out in the news. And this is not for a day. Not for a week. This has been their life for three years. I repeat ..THREE YEARS. I challenge you, or any of your ministers, to come and live in these camps for 24 hours. If you can survive it, I will stop reporting from Manipur. Don’t shoot the messenger, sir. As a journalist on the ground, this is our job ...to show you this and request you, with folded hands, to please help those living in relief camps. Get them out of there. Give them humane conditions. At the very least. You can do it. You know you can. When you were supposed to come to Manipur, roads were built overnight...so why have relief camps taken three years? Why can’t the government ensure basic dignity for people who have already lost everything in a conflict they had no role in?

@rohini_sgh @nowme_datta Workout is about raising your heart rate and/or lifting weights. Neither has sweating as a key parameter. Sweating is a cooling mechanism, shud not be a goal. Sweat is not equal to weight loss. We lose fluids which return on rehydration.

People who want to switch off the AC in the gym/ badminton court cos they think more sweat equals a better work out - all you are doing is making yourselves a living advertisement for why deodorant was invented. PS - also work out outdoors then.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Keir Starmer is a barefaced liar. The whole country knows it. This evening I'll be voting to refer him to the Privileges Committee. Any Labour MP with a backbone should do the same.

Isn't milk an animal product? Why is it classified as vegetarian?
Rahul K@zrahul2020

@sanjayuvacha Eggs are an animal product made up of animal cells, it is against common sense to classify it as vegetarian. I don't care about any moral or religious aspects, I love eggs because it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare an egg based dish.

Alternative medicine. Integrative Medicine. Functional Medicine. None of these are medicine. They are marketing scams. They’re deceptive and illusory Trojan-horse labels designed precisely to sneak pseudoscience into health care.

@raghav_chadha Your politics your choice. But this step is a disgrace in setting an example for the youth. Indian youth desperately needs icons who value honesty, commitment, morality and a spine to stand up for the nation. Otherwise 'buckling under adversity' has become a national culture 😡.

Today, exercising the provisions of the Constitution of India, more than two-thirds of the AAP MPs in the Rajya Sabha have merged with the BJP. Seven MPs have signed the document, which was submitted to the Hon’ble Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. I, along with two other MPs, personally handed over the signed documents.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez demands the IMMEDIATE ARREST of Netanyahu He stated: "Netanyahu has launched the most unjustifiable and deadliest attack against Lebanon. His contempt for human life and for international law is intolerable. He is a criminal who must be arrested without delay." He adds that the EU will very soon suspend its association agreement with Israel. This is what true leadership looks like.

It's much cheaper to provide best medical care for people via publically funded NHS than handing over the reins to private sector. No where in the world has private sector been able to provide such a care for the masses.
Your Party@thisisyourparty

So private NHS companies have made £1.6 BILLION in profits over the last two years. All while patients suffer huge waiting times and staff go underpaid. It's time to kick profiteers out of our health system. For a fully-funded, fully-public NHS!
