@flatland_sports This would have been pretty amazing, and hopefully Iowa would have come prepared to play instead of treating the bowl game like a vacation. After 2002 they started taking bowl prep more seriously.

@JesseMyers88 Such an elitist 1% argument. Call the 1st round play in games if it makes you feel better but the 1st round would be like having the meaningful bowl season back. It would also give a chance to show that these big 12 and Acc schools can play with the upper middle of the Sec.

Access does not equal Capability. Dozens of those teams would get splattered in their CFP appearance. The others would be 8-4 B10/SEC teams who if they got hot, they could go on a run, but proved with their regular season performance that they shouldn't have access to said run.

@AriWasserman It's called a conflict of interest for a reason. Whether he would do it or not is irrelevant. Just the appearance that he could be bias questions any ruling he could give.

Just because a judge has a degree from the school doesn't mean he wants to jeopardize his professional resume to help that school be good at football.

It’s a top 3 secondary in the country. I will die on the hill that it’s the best secondary in the conference. Indiana has to replace 4 starters on their OL and Oregon has to replace 3. Michigan and OSU will more than likely have the best offensive lines in the conference. Sneaky is Northwestern, David Braun has year in and year out developed top offensive lines in the country.
