True drug allergy to oral amoxicillin very rare. Also amox rash with mono much less common than we were taught (only about 30% incidence) Dr. Farah Khan giving grand rounds @nationwidekids @NCHforDocs

Eosinophilic esophagitis can be debilitating and can turn what should be an enjoyable act of eating into a nightmare. It’s great to see new treatment approaches, including biologics. This yardstick from @ACAAI provides a current evidence based approach to help patients.

@TheKidKidDoc The struggle is real. I’ve had decent success with Vyvsnse and Mydayis (when covered). If I’ve seen the patient the same day I’ve had these issues, I add this effort to my E/M coding. Maybe if I clock enough 99215s the inscos will take notice.
