I am really grateful to be selected by the @BBRFoundation for its Young Investigator award (NARSAD). In mice, we will leverage timing to the respiratory cycle as a novel method for potentiating repetitive brain stimulation to expedite fear extinction.

Bonus: a late addition to the work I'm especially proud of is Fig. 10, which shows how the strength of sharp waves/ripples, and their coupling to single-unit activity, is weakened throughout dorsal and ventral hippocampus (6/6)

Moreover, given the distinct functional roles of dorsal (cognitive/spatial) vs. ventral (affective/social) hippocampus, our results offer a way of studying the constellation of neuropsychiatric symptoms seen in patients with Alzheimer disease (5/6)

@edmundlalor @JohnnyFoxe @Adobe I used Mendeley a lot in early grad school for pdf annotation (and reference management), it was working great until I hit some sort of storage limit and it would no longer let me upload pdfs

Newest version of @Adobe Reader almost appears to have been deliberately designed to make annotating pdfs more difficult. Does anyone have a tip for good software for annotating pdfs (e.g., when reviewing scientific articles)? I have reverted to the old version of Reader for now.
