Howard’s Ose Okojie tried not to get emotional as he talked about this historic moment for @HUMensBB. He gave credit to former Bison players and said he hopes he’s left a legacy for the younger guys on the team - not just as a basketball player but as a man.

I want to congratulate Howard University on winning their first ever NCAA tournament game defeating UMBC 86-83 and advancing to play Michigan! Great job Bison players, Coach Kenneth Blakeney and my long time friend - Athletic Director Kery Davis!

Here’s the close of Jesse’s 1988 DNC speech “keep hope alive.” The challenge for politicians on the left remains unsparing critique that doesn’t descend into cynicism. There’s a reason that churched, black political figures navigate this more seamlessly than others

This is your yearly reminder that Reggie Miller had six wins and 12 losses in 18 career playoff games at MSG. He was 13-39 lifetime at the Garden. Reggie didn’t own the Knicks at MSG, Michael Jordan did.

Last week, we hosted the Resilient Mom’s Holiday Workshop with our amazing partner, East Side S.O.U.L! Providers from @WeillCornell led stress-relief and winter wellness education—and surprised moms and babies with gifts and toys. Wishing all a happy, healthy holiday!
