The border crisis, the Ukraine war, and the violent crime surge could all be solved in a week. The resources dedicated to those things could then be reallocated to solve the more entrenched issues of the mental health crisis, the reproduction crisis, and the drug crisis. It’s simply a matter of choice. The question is identifying who is making those choices, and removing them. The problem is that convincing the wider American public of this is practically impossible because of the role the media plays in [1] concealing the damage, [2] obscuring these issues, and [3] distracting attention with fabricated crises. [1] Most people don’t think for themselves or seek out the truth, so if the TV doesn’t tell them about an issue, it doesn’t exist. The negative effects are also so diffused that while the country is practically unrecognizable compared to a few decades ago, at no point has the change been readily apparent to a wide swath of the country at once. [2] They portray these issues as somehow complicated. As if shutting the border or arresting criminals involves severe human-rights abuses, or calling for peace in Ukraine is giving Putin a green light to annex Poland. So not only can we not just implement obvious solutions, we get called fascists or traitors for suggesting they be implemented. [3] They have the populace convinced the real issues are white supremacy, trans genocide, climate change, law-abiding citizens owning guns, and access to abortion pills. This presents a whole set of additional problems as these issues are either (A) non existent or (B) not actually a problem. So their solutions either (A) do nothing or (B) make things worse. A feedback loops of fake solutions causing real problems. All of this is compounded by rogue intelligence agencies preventing effective resistance, corporate banking combines using their wealth to manufacture the the illusion of uniformity, billionaire-funded NGOs working tirelessly on their behalf, supra-national orgs like the UN, WHO, and IMF coordinating everything, and legitimate geo-political threats just waiting for the US to devolve into civil war. So anyway, the solution is Texas Secession.

When it comes to cash bail, I think you have to have it. Society depends on it. It’s unfair, it’s true. But the side effects of legalizing crime are that we can’t get nice things like 24/hour delis & bodegas. We have to ring a bell for shampoo bc it’s behind locked glass. Doesn’t seem like anything is replacing the closed rite aids. The two are correlated bc shoplifting. Bail can exist in a non-black and white, sliding scale - context dependent manner. There is no need for binary abolishment thinking.

The US federal govt has just begun implementing a centralized digital currency project (CBDC) to bring about a cashless society where every transaction we make is tracked, monitored, and controlled, thus undermining our autonomy and freedom. To protect our freedom, we must all stand together in rejecting this effort to institute a digital cashless society.
