We’ve received some comments on Instagram suggesting that we ripped the armor models from KCD2. We've already addressed it there, but to ensure everyone is on the same page, I’m sharing the clarifications here as well: 1. Inspiration and Setting I’m from Czechia, and our low fantasy world is inspired by medieval Bohemia, our culture, and folklore - much like how The Witcher draws from Polish culture and mythology. 2. Heraldic Lion Design The lion we use is not the Czech lion. It has a different shape, lacks a crown, and doesn’t feature a second tail. Lions were widely used in medieval heraldry, so it’s common to see similar designs across different contexts. But the similarity here is intentional to clearly show the historical inspiration behind this faction. 3. Armor Design and Historical Accuracy Our armors are based on historical examples, so some similarities are to be expected. However, anyone knowledgeable in the field can spot the differences - our armors are more historically accurate and built with more sophisticated rigs. Even @DanielVavra himself praised our armor on Twitter for its detail and functionality. 4. Timeline of Creation Most of our armors were designed, created, and posted before KCD2 was released, so they clearly couldn’t have been copied. 5. A Note on KCD2 I’m currently playing @KingdomComeRPG, and I absolutely love the game! It features the best medieval world ever created, with the most natural and funny dialogues and a truly gripping story. And the music from @valtajan is a masterpiece! As a Czech, I’m incredibly proud of it. I hope this clears up everything! 🙌
