According to Creators, who were given information by BHVR, this Jason is an original interpretation sort of like Ghost Face. He is not the same Jason as from the F13 movies, and his lore will probably be changed to reflect that.

Honestly I expected more from Jason. No tp ability, no rage mechanic. He's just another projectile killer. His power is cool but I guess my expectations for him were a little too high.

Also a lot of people are still upset about not having Friday The 13th The Game. (Deborah Kim was my girl!) And while that's not a contributing factor to my issues with Fortnight Jason, it's definitely an issue for others.

Jason is THEE killer we’ve been waiting for in dbd.. you could argue this game wouldn’t exist without the concept of Jason.. he is THEE slasher. The first killer they ever made is an obvious homage to Jason. He’s always been in mind. I’m not sure why everyone is suddenly pressed

I’m kind of bummed they had to settle for this version of Jason. They can’t even use the Vorhees name at all, let alone the Friday the 13th franchise name or outfits. That’s the main thing that disappoints me about this really
