@chutneylife I say it all the time, dentistry in itself is usually pretty easy. But the X factor is the patient. Owning an office throws a whole other factor into it.

Dentistry is hard not just because of the procedures but because of all the other BS that comes with it.

What the hell is up with all of these TATTOOS everywhere? “Back in the Day” only Sailors got them when they were DRUNK in the Philippines. Then it became a “Thing” with STRIPPERS in the 90s. Now I see Dentists, Teachers, Nurses, Interns all TATTED UP. My Theory: It’s an Easy, quick way to feel Distinctive and Special, WITHOUT actually doing the WORK to be Distinctive and Special. I take pride in everything I do: Work, lifting, relationships, spouse, dad, son. Every job I've had, my boss wanted a team of me. Every football team I've been on, my coaches wanted 22 more of me. I am not liked by everyone, and that's ok. I'd rather have quality customers and friends. I want to have trust built up among my peers.
