Those who whine are basically shirkers. They must be dealt with a heavy hand.

The whining is BS. People work hard or harder in many other jobs. They don't complain. In antinaxal ops, I myself did 7 nights, 8 days continuous operation in deep jungles without rear contact. Our record was 11 nights. We rather liked it. These guys have become softies.
