However it should be noted that all the leaders you've recruited; Ministers ,Mps and public servants have been asking to give them PO numbers ,their presence brings a great deal of value to PLU which reflects growth not only in capacity but also numbers and strengths. However let's not forget the foundation for which that platform was built the Cardres who traveled the entire country for 5 years nonstop preaching the gospel of Mk the ones who have stood by and done whatever it takes to amplify PLU .

This morning, accompanied by the Regional Internal Security Officer, officers from CID, and the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, we conducted an unannounced inspection at Busiu Health Centre IV, the largest health facility in Mbale District. I commend Dr. Mawumbe Bernard, Dr. Balayo Isa Mustafa, the midwives, nurses, and all health workers I found on duty. Your dedication and commitment to saving lives are truly appreciated. Our inspection revealed that Busiu Health Centre IV is overwhelmed by the growing number of patients. The facility urgently requires expansion, additional health workers, and more medical equipment to improve service delivery and meet the healthcare needs of the people. Access to quality healthcare is a constitutional right of every Ugandan. The Ministry of Local Government will work closely with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to ensure this critical facility receives the support it deserves. To all public servants serving with integrity, thank you. To those who neglect their duties or misuse public resources, be warned: our unannounced inspections will continue. Every Ugandan deserves efficient, accountable, and people-centred public services. Together, let us build a cleaner, more transparent, and more effective local government system. Just when you think it can’t get worse, the Ugandan government surprises you! Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi was released on bail just yesterday, after 169 days on remand. A few minutes ago, he was abducted again by the SFC on his way to Kampala. We the youth of Uganda will have to get ourselves out of this mess by continuing to fight this bullying in every way we can. It is Hon. Muwanga’s resilience and love for his country that has kept him going, and I am sure he is not about to break. Let us not let him down! Aluta continua!

Earlier this year, in January 2026, I passed information to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit regarding the alleged embezzlement of over UGX 600 million earmarked for road construction and rehabilitation in Kamuli District during FY 2025/2026. The funds are alleged to have been fraudulently processed by the then Chief Administrative Officer, Mukiibi Nasser, Chief Finance Officer, Kifuuse Alex, and District Engineer, Mufumba Daniel, through Raven Knights Ltd, a company whose directors are the engineer’s sister and brother-in-law but is believed to have been under his control. Following investigations, the CAO and CFO were arrested, while the engineer went into hiding after applying for a transfer from Kamuli District to Mbale City. Although Kamuli District initially declined to release him, a court process eventually led to his transfer. Investigations indicate that the engineer requisitioned the funds through the company for road works that were never executed. The CAO and CFO approved the payments, and part of the money was allegedly transferred directly to the engineer to undertake works that were never carried out. His sister and brother-in-law also disappeared, and their known phone numbers became unreachable. This morning, acting on intelligence, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit successfully arrested Eng. Mufumba Daniel in Mbale. He is expected to be arraigned before court shortly. I commend the Head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke, and his team for their professionalism, persistence, and unwavering commitment to fighting corruption. I also applaud all the security agencies that worked together to ensure the suspect was brought to justice. The fight against corruption is gaining momentum. The meeting, which took place at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe, was attended by NMG owner, Mr. Rostam Aziz, and his son, Mr. Saam Aziz, alongside Ms. Georgia Mutagaywa, the Chief of Staff of Taarifa Limited, which is the parent organization of NMG.

Good morning The existing structure issue! 1. My office has noted that there’s allot of impersonation by individuals calling themselves PLU and using none existent groups braced as PLU to extort people. 2. I have also noted that there’s either deliberate or unintentional undermining of existent structures so far formed in some subregions and districts. First and foremost, PLU is one organization and there has been no creation of subsidiary structures except the appointed structures done by our Chairman . In areas where structures were appointed by our chairman , we shall maintain the status quo and those structures will help us build the District/ municipality , Subcounty/Division , parish/ward, village/cell coordinators in subregions where leadership already exist, but first we are going to start with completing regional structures then scale it downwards. The appointed structures must be respected I call upon your patience as we wait for our chairman @mkainerugaba to appoint the remaining subregions That said, all activities related or planned to include PLU must be expressed to and cleared by the office of General Secretary with guidance and consultation from our able Chairman @mkainerugaba to avoid extortionist tendencies and putting Plu in bad light. For the Diaspora community, I have noted your concerns and in due course I will share with our Chairman for a way forward Thank you for supporting Plu and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
