The only slight change in modern times is there’s less descending from coursing lines (who are generally stockier) since being banned

@domdyer70 How do the numbers compare with say labradors running around the park? We don’t know because that data isn’t collected. How do we know if it’s more or less dangerous than throwing a ball for a spaniel? We don’t Using stats is great, but only with some form of context

@domdyer70 Where did you get that number ref. long term injuries? GBGB only publishes data for ALL injuries, so the vast majority will be minor injures cured with a bit of rest.

Yes evidence of what actually happens to dogs at the Valley. And dogs getting up and crossing the line doesn't mean they haven't been injured. Look at Pookies Julia in this clip. She did exactly the same. She was subsequently rehomed direct from Valley track with extensive scaring to her right shoulder, covered in ticks and with an open cuts/bite. x.com/valley_trk_wtc…

“To run around a track” does that mean straight racing wouldn’t be covered by the ban?
