@tonkotsudondon I agree Illusion spell is great, it is also my favorite school of magic :). But if I were to pick one spell, it would be “Contingency”. I love the moment when I can tell my enemies they activated my trap card!

@magineco Theres a long history of why western fans does not like Wotc, but short version is that they only listen to our wallets and not our opinions lol. (For example, there were controversy from Wotc staff saying our voices doesnt matter)

@rusty_keeper Reminds me of my own story. I use online battlemap, and I always put a red border on my enemy token, and grey on npcs. One time I got lazy and used the red border on a kidnapped villager. My players were extremely suspicious of the hostage, regardless of what I say..

@rusty_keeper I think it is okay to do that as long as you are adjusting things player cant see! They wont know if a bear has 50 or 45 HP. But if they hit on a 13, but rolled 15 later and missed , they will not be happy lol

@niftorl This is my opinion, since I grew up overseas and play TTRPG in English with online friends. In Taiwan we have events where people sell LARP/fantasy items, and usually you see promotional TTRPG event attached to it. So they have been slowly growing, but no big breakthrough yet.

@aimo01 I can see it yes! Thank you for sharing! I played an MMO on JP server and also noticed English speaker love to join biggest Guild, but JP players are often in smaller sized ones. I love to see how different people run their games, so hoping X will show me more JP D&D contents.

@Doggobo ありがとうございます！ あくまで私の一意見ですが、日本だとルールの議論やキャラクタービルドの相談などはDiscordのコミュニティサーバーなどで行われている印象です。Twitter（X）では写真やスクリーンショット付きでセッションを楽しんだ内容を投稿することが多いですね！

Twitterの翻訳機能のおかげか、英語圏の人からリプライが飛んできてビックリ。でもD&Dの話できるの嬉しいね〜〜

@MizukaOhsaki You raised a good point. Trends/ popular media will redefine words to a certain extent. Like how orcs went from Tolkien -> early D&D(pig nose) -> warcraft/warhammer green barbarian. Makes me wonder how Frieren might affect how Elves are defined in the future.

ファンタジーのエルフの食事ってエルフを雑に纏めているからでは？ その世界のエルフはこうです、でしょう？ 単純にD&Dで言えば、レルムのエルフとグレイホークのエルフとミスタラのエルフは別種で別の文化背景と生活をしていると考えます。それをただエルフで雑に纏めて語るから話がおかしくなる。
